After childbirth, the process of recovery and adjustment to motherhood benefit from support and care. Postnatal Yoga is specifically designed to support the new mother through physical rehabilitation and emotional and spiritual nourishment. The yoga postures will help to improve circulation, restore pelvic floor muscles, strengthen abdominal muscles, care for the back, postural awareness and strengthen muscles to support caring for the newborn. Post-natal yoga is an opportunity to nurture the mother using breath awareness, relaxation and meditation. To establish and nurture the bond between mother and baby you will enjoy time together with baby yoga and baby massage. Children take us into the tight inflexible parts of ourselves and give us the opportunity to soften and surrender bringing stillness and peace into the family.
